The visualisation of no longer existing archeological objects and their original environment by means of 3D-computergraphics is a fascinating and unique way to make scholarly results vivid and to impart archaeology and history. The three-dimensional true-to-scale models can be entered virtually. Any visual angle, any position can be simulated and figured. Thus it becomes possible to experience and judge the monument and the original space or architectural context with the eyes of the former visitor. These graphics are ideal to present reconstructions as illustrations for publications, for didactic purposes or even as plans for conventional drawings.
